Also, Long’s take on Pat Benatar’s “Love Is A Battlefield,” Aerosmith’s “Dream On” and “Queen’s “Somebody To Love” are included.
Long had her artist launch concert at The Bitter End in NYC in March 2018 and has performed in San Diego at The House of Blues, in Asbury Park at The Stone Pony, at the famed Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NYC and other local stages throughout the North East over the past year. She and her band have been warm up for major national bands including for David Bryan of Bon Jovi.
Dean Kaelin of Utah is credited with discovering Long and initially developing her talent. Kjersti’s repertoire includes covers by Heart, Ann Wilson, Janis Joplin, Lindsey Stirling and others. Her originals are based on real-life experiences and appeal to all ages.
At her Artist Launch in NYC Broadway World reported, ‘From the start Long did not disappoint, Ann and Nancy Wilson would be proud.’ And they went on, ‘…closing with Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven,” a signature cover, Long brought the house down. The audience was left mesmerized and wondering how what they just saw was even possible.’
When asked what she wants her music to represent, Kjersti says,
‘I want to offer contemplative and intense moments in my concerts so when people experience my music they truly feel something and we can share an emotional bond. I want to empower girls, teens and young women. I want everyone to know that we can be strong and powerful and stand up for ourselves. Performing with my band I feel electrified and that energy I want to throw out to the crowd and connect to my fans on so many levels.’For more information on Kjersti Long contact Leesa Csolak, LBC Talent Management @leesacsolak.lbctalent, or, visit website at www.kjerstilong.com or follow her on Instagram @kjersti.long.
