With an invitation to come down and be in the video, recording artist Duane Betts, is shooting his video for his new single “Downtown Runaround”.
Betts, who is represented on the charts with his new EP Sketches Of American Music, will be performing with his band.
The guitarist, singer and songwriter will be appearing Aug. 15 in the historic Five O’Clock Club at 1930 Hillview St. in Sarasota, Florida.
The event, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM, also includes a full live set of “Duane Betts and The Family Jam” featuring “members of the Dickey Betts Band, friends and family with special guests.”
Limited early-bird tickets are $25, and limited meet and greet tickets with Duane Betts including a signed CD of Sketches Of American Music are $60. Only 130 tickets are available for the show.
Betts has been touring the country this summer as co-lead guitarist and backing vocalist in his dad’s Dickey Betts Band as well as with The Devon Allman Project, often pulling double duty at the same venues.
Most of the Dickey Betts Band, including the namesake legend who co-founded the Allman Brothers Band, live in Sarasota County, with the group launching its current tour here with a sold-out live rehearsal show at White Buffalo Saloon in May.
